PAYMENT INFORMATION

KLARNA – Part Payments

For our Scandinavian customers (SE, NO, DK) we offer KLARNA payment options: 

  • Partpayment – spread your payments from 3 – 36 months!
  • Invoice/Pay After Delivery (14 days credit)
  • Klarna Account
  • Card payments (VISA & Mastercard)
  • Direct banking (most popular banks)

Credit Card

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. All credit card transactions are subject to address verification prior to acceptance of your order. Our merchant system is secure and requires that we verify the registered billing address with the issuing bank prior to shipment of your order. Review times vary, but we do our best to keep delays to a minimum. Shipping timeframes begin once your order has been accepted

PayPal

PayPal is an electronic payment processor that allows customers to send money securely without divulging your bank information to the merchant. You can use this service even if you do not want to sign up for an account of your own. Simply use your credit card of choice. To checkout with PayPal, look for the PayPal button at the checkout.

Bank Wire Transfer

If you choose to arrange payment through your bank, please email us at billing@thebrownpaperbag.net to request Bank Wire Transfer instructions.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

Delivery Method

We ship worldwide with DHL and dispatch all orders within 48 hours. DHL’s dedication to excellence means full transparency for all shipments and you can always locate your package using your dedicated tracking number. 

  • Scandinavia: delivery in 1-4 working days – SEK150
  • Rest of the world: delivery in 3-8 working days – SEK250

After placing your order, you can choose to have it delivered to your home address at a time that suits you or delivered to a local DHL service point – typically a supermarket or gas station near you. Delivery notification will be sent via email or text message (SMS) when your package is ready for delivery and or pickup. Some orders may require signature upon receipt.

 

 

Taxes and duties

All countries within the European Union are shipped on DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, meaning that taxes and duties are included in the final price.

Outside EU: If you are located outside of the EU, please note that most of our items are offered tax-free. However, local taxes and/or customs charges may apply when importing to your location. THEBROWNPAPERBAG assumes no responsibility for added charges and fees. Please contact your local tax office for further information.

Important information

All orders are fully traceable through DHL. Delivery times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by third parties or by other external influences. We are unable to deliver to post office boxes.

First-Time Order Policy

For security purposes, THEBROWNPAPERBAG reserves the right to ship first-time orders to the cardholder’s verified billing address or work address. To avoid delays in receiving your order, please make sure to provide the correct billing and shipping information associated with your credit/debit card when placing an order.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Returns

Customer satisfaction means everything to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will gladly refund or exchange your item, no questions asked. THEBROWNPAPERBAG offers a 14-day return policy; any returns must be shipped/postmarked within 14 days of receipt. To initiate a return, please contact us at info@thebrownpaperbag.net.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled or changed within 1 hour of purchase.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange for another product on our website, we extend free shipping for that item. Exchanges are only processed upon receipt of returned merchandise and are based on stock availability. Please return your item/s to us and simply purchase the new piece separately at thebrownpaperbag.net.

Important information

Items returned must have all tags still attached – items returned without the tag attached in reasonable condition will not be refunded and the customer will stand for all related shipping expenses. Please note that in case the tag has been removed and a refund has been approved anyway; payment will be offered as a store credit. (b) Please allow seven (7) business days upon receipt for the refund to be processed. (c) Any associated shipping costs or fees are non-refundable. (d) Returns must be shipped from you within fourteen (14) days of you receiving the goods. (e) The item(s) must be delivered to us no later than seven (7) days after you have made the shipment. (f) Returned items will be compared to original photos taken of the item before initial delivery to you. g) THEBROWNPAPERBAG can not refund items lost in transit.

We reserve the right for compensation up to the full value of the item(s) if any of the above conditions are not met

Damaged items

If you suspect that your order has been damaged during transit, or if you have received the wrong item(s) or you find that the item(s) has/have been grossly misrepresented – please contact us immediately. If any of the above is justified, we will respond by guiding you through the exchange process and, for any of the reasons stated above, issue a full refund including related shipping expenses.

Repairs: To avoid decreasing the value of stock items, repairs are only performed by the original manufacturers. The original manufacturers know the exact specifications and have access to the correct materials needed for all sorts of repairs. Furthermore, we only recommend subsequent repairs by the original manufacturers. All items are sold “as is” making THEBROWNPAPERBAG exempt from liability for any previous and subsequent repairs.

All items have been professionally cleaned and rejuvenated by our in-house experts. Each item is sold with an authenticity certificate, care instructions and a tailored dust bag.

How to shop

  1. Use the menu to help you find what you are looking for. You can shop by category, designer or by browsing our MAGAZINE or lookbook.
  2. Once you have found an item you wish to purchase, click on the ADD TO CART button underneath each item.
  3. Review the items in your cart by clicking the CART link at the top of the page. You can use the X to delete items from your cart.
  4. Click on PROCEED TO CHECKOUT to complete your order.

Pricing

EU: All prices displayed are including VAT, meaning that no taxes will be added for orders within the EU.

Outside EU: If your delivery address is outside of the EU, VAT will be subtracted from your order at checkout (if applicable). Please note, orders delivered outside of EU may be subject to local taxes and/or custom charges.

Buying a gift card

You can buy a THEBROWNPAPERBAG gift card in Swedish Crowns (SEK)

  • Choose how much you would like to give
  • Add the recipient’s name, email address and a personal message (optional)
  • The gift card will be emailed to the recipient and a delivery receipt will be emailed to you

Your item(s) will be placed in one of our signature organic dust bags and placed in luxurious silk paper.

Out of stock

All of our items have acquired their own distinct patina and look – making every piece unique. To secure your dream bag, we advise to act fast. Remember, we offer 14 days return in case you are not 100% satisfied.
